When you want more
Start covers up to five cars. If you have more, or get tired of starting the trips yourselves, you connect the cars.
Every trip is logged with the car's odometer reading. The congestion tax is calculated by itself. No limit on the number of cars. Set-up fee 995 kr per car, no fixed term.
FAQ
Is it really free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. Start is free for up to 5 cars, so that you get your cars in and see the value straight away. If you want every trip logged by itself, choose Connect.
Do we have to install any hardware?
No. In Start the driver records the trip with the phone. A device in the car is only needed with Connect.
How does the driver record a trip?
The driver taps Start trip in the app when the car drives off and End on arrival. The app measures the distance and fills in the addresses. The driver writes the purpose and saves.
What if the driver forgets to start or end?
If the car stands still for 15 minutes, the trip ends where it stopped. If the driver forgot to start, the trip is added afterwards, and the distance is calculated.
Does the app track the phone all the time?
No. The location is only used from Start trip to End. The phone shows when recording is on.
How is it different from Connect?
Start logs the trips the driver records. Connect logs every trip by itself, with the car's odometer reading and the congestion tax.
Is there a fixed term?
No, Start has no fixed term and no card is needed.
What happens to our data?
It is stored in the EU, in Finland and Germany, and it is yours. You can download it at any time.
